New Data Report: Mortality from Intimate Partner Violence in Colorado

New Report: Health Watch No. 110: Mortality from Intimate Partner Violence in Colorado, 2007-2017, Colorado Violent Death Reporting System.

CDPHE is excited to announce a new report that was just released, examining deaths related to intimate partner violence. 

The report: "Health Watch No. 110: Mortality from Intimate Partner Violence in Colorado, 2007-2017, Colorado Violent Death Reporting System."  presents frequencies, trends, rates, demographics, circumstances and more for deaths related to intimate partner violence. This includes intimate partner homicides, but also examines corollary deaths, homicide-suicides related to IPV, and legal intervention deaths related to IPV. 

This report was led up by Juli Kafka, MPH, who is completing her PhD program at the University of North Carolina. Julie has unique research interests related to intimate partner violence, and has been working on similar issues in North Carolina.
