CDPHE is looking for a qualified individual to directly manage several pilot projects to improve access and use of the Colorado Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP), including linking the PDMP to Colorado's two Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) and integrating the PDMP into electronic health records systems. Additionally, this position will oversee the implementation and evaluation of projects related to prescription drug epidemiology and a community grant program aimed at reducing problematic prescribing, enhance uptake of evidence-based opioid prescribing guidelines, and decrease overdoses associated with heroin use. This position will serve on multiple state-level work groups of the Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention.
