This training is open to anyone identifying with or providing services to the GLBTQ and Latino populations in Jefferson, Clear Creek, and Gilpin Counties...including (but not limited to) parents, foster families, community representatives, healthcare staff, social services, juvenile justice, school personnel, emergency services workers, faith based organizations, and anyone else collaborating w/GLBTQ and Latino populations.
The ASIST workshop is for caregivers who want to feel more comfortable, confident and competent in helping to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. Over 1,000,000 caregivers have participated in this two-day, highly interactive, practical, practice-oriented workshop.
