Standing Orders for Expansion to Naloxone & Needle Stick Prevention Bills were both signed by Governor Hickenlooper 4/3/15

Senate Bill 15-053 Expansion to Naloxone Access passed unanimously in both the Senate & the House. When was the last time they all agreed on something?!?! Thank you to Senator Aguilar & Representative McCann & Representative Lontine for sponsoring this important legislation. This legislation went in to effect immediately upon signature for harm reduction organizations, pharmacists need to wait for rule changes.

Senate Bill 15-116 Needle Stick Prevention passed unanimously in the Senate & just a couple of votes shy of unanimous in the House. Thank you to Senator Steadman & Representative Garnett for sponsoring this legislation. This legislation will go in to effect on July 1, 2015.
