The BtD Planning Committee is eager to learn how YOU are working to engage others in your suicide prevention, support, advocacy and research efforts. Therefore we have extended the Call for Presentations deadline to Monday, February 23, as we've heard from a few folks that extra time is needed with the President's Day holiday.
Please take advantage of this opportunity to share your expertise so that everyone may benefit from your experience. For more information and/or to submit a proposal, please click this link to download the Call for Presentations.Submissions are now due by February 23, 2015. Speakers will still be notified by March 9 if their presentation was accepted.
The 2015 Bridging the Divide (BtD) Suicide Awareness and Prevention Summit will be held May 14-15, 2015, at the Regis University Lowell Campus. The theme, "Honoring the Lived Experience Through Support, Advocacy and Research," aligns the work in Colorado with national and international trends as we invite the "lived expertise" voice to inform our future directions. Lived experience can come in many forms - suicide attempt survivors, people living with suicidal intensity, people who support suicidal people, suicide loss survivors...as well as all the mental health professionals, researchers and prevention advocates whose professional roles have also affected them personally.
We hope to receive a presentation submission from you by Monday!
