The Colorado Department of Human Services Office of Early Childhood has released a new website with information about each of their child maltreatment prevention and intervention programs. The Office of Early Childhood, created in 2012, was further expanded by House Bill 13-1117 which moved the Colorado Children’s Trust Fund and the Family Resource Centers Program from the CDPHE to the Colorado Department of Human Services.
The Office of Early Childhood provides resources for children, families and early care professionals to best prepare Coloradans for future success, through access to collaborative, coordinated, quality early childhood programs and supports. These programs provide resources, training, technical assistance, and funding for programs that build on the protective factors that help to strengthen family bonds.
